MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (A466 TINTERN ROAD, ST ARVANS, MONMOUTHSHIRE) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2025

1. The Order came into operation on the 17th March 2025 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 17th March 2025 and 31st March 2025, operating between 09:00– 15:00.
2. The order was necessary for resurfacing works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.
3. The effect of the order was to temporarily close a section of A466 Tintern Road, St Arvans, Monmouthshire, from its junction with Wyndcliff Road for ~0.75km.
4. A signed diversionary route was in place as follows:- A466, Wye Bridge, A40, B4293 and vice versa.
